Egyptian Engineering & Industrial Office has been established in 1956 to supply the Egyptian market with medical equipment from various leading international manufacturers. We specialize in the supply of equipment to anaesthesia departments, intensive care units, neonatal intensive care units and medical imaging equipment. The company's current staff consists of 45 employees, of which; 6 are salesmen 12 are service engineers and technicians. The company's head office is in Cairo with a branch office in Alexandria.

The strategy of our company is to concentrate and expand its activity in specific fields. These areas include the following:

■ Anaesthesia and anaesthesia related products.

■ Medical imaging equipment and related products, especially that our company has been working closely with Shimadzu Corporation of Japan over the last 25 years, and with other companies before that. Our service department is probably second to none in that field.

■ Neonatology and neonatal intensive care units. EEIO has been working with Vickers Medical (before becoming Airshields Vickers) and subsequently with Atom Medical, Japan. EEIO is also cooperating with SLE, UK, which is specialized in producing advanced ventilators for neonates and paediatrics. We also manufacture our own simple baby incubator, branded Engimed.

■ Monitoring equipment for anaesthesia and intensive care units.

■ Operating room equipment.

■ Any new advances in medicine, which could be marketed in Egypt.

■ In order to be able to implement the above and to expand our marketing potential, we approach the market either directly by our sales force, or through sales distributors throughout Egypt.

We also participate regularly in specialized exhibitions as well as holding scientific seminars with the aim of promoting our company's products.
